About Us

Mrs. Crystal Poche Louviere - Owner/Director

Mrs. Crystal has been a certified teacher since 2004 and is dedicated to offering a nurturing environment for your child to grow and learn. She oversees the financial operations of our school and supervises all components of our curriculum program here at Tiny Blessings. She works closely with our directors and preschool interventionist and adheres to regulations from the Louisiana Department of Education and the health department. She requires on-going training for her staff through state-wide agencies, in-house trainings (She is a certified Pathways trainer), and other certified professionals in the education field.

Crystal is a resident of St. Martinville and is married to Russ Louviere. They have three sons: William, Matthew, and Joshua.

Co-Director: Mrs. Loretta Barras

Mrs. Loretta has been employed with us since November of 2018. She has worked with all ages ranging from 6 weeks old to 5 years old. She has been working in a daycare/preschool setting since 2000. She is responsible and hard-working. She oversees the daily routines and assists throughout the center. Mrs. Loretta has a special relationship with each child and family at our center.

Co-Director: Mrs. Erin Borel

Mrs. Erin has been employed with us since we opened our doors in October of 2018. She has worked with all ages ranging from 6 weeks old to 5 years old. She has been working in a daycare/preschool setting since 2016. Mrs. Erin is a great addition to our team as she oversees the curriculum and assists throughout our center.

Preschool Interventionist:

Mrs. Penny Poche

Mrs. Penny has been working in a preschool setting since 1989. She also worked as a Home-School Coordinator for St. Martin Parish where she facilitated communication between parents and teachers, offering strategies for at-home support. Mrs. Penny is a compassionate and experienced teacher who has decades of experience working with children in a school setting. She works closely with our preschool students and teachers, providing one-on-one support and implementing strategies that enhance the learning and development of our students.

Tiny Blessings Daycare and Learning Center is a learning facility for the future generation of our community with an unwavering commitment to excellence in providing developmentally appropriate child care learning experiences and recognizing individual needs and differences. We believe that through Christian principles and teacher-assisted and directed activities, children can become independent thinkers and life-long learners.

The Environment

At Tiny Blessings Daycare and Learning Center, we strive to provide a clean, safe and educational environment for young children and their families. Within our care, children develop skills that promote physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth. We believe in being supportive of our parents, and we welcome their positive involvement and presence at Tiny Blessings Daycare and Learning Center at all times. We further believe that within our environment, children can thrive and have the opportunity to blossom into responsible and contributing members of our society.
